The CSIR campus is a national key point, located within a nature reserve. If you are lucky, you may spot some animals. The CSIR’s Knowledge Commons is a dedicated work space aimed at encouraging CSIR staff to share knowledge and engage in dialogue, debate and reflection. As a catalyst, the Knowledge Commons creates the opportunity for networks across disciplines and organisations. As a hub, it stimulates dialogue within science and research communities about current developments in science and technology innovation.
Make yourself comfortable in the lounge areas during breaks, take a step outside, or use one of the cubicles to make that urgent phone call.
Directions to the CSIR can be downloaded from this link. The 31st WGNE will take place in building 50, which is at the North gate entrance or Gate 3. At the end of the day a shuttle will leave the CSIR at 17:15, transporting delegates back to the City Lodge.
